Detail: Peacock: This is a close-up shot of the peacock I made for the top of the bar border. In this first shot I have done all the colors except for the bright blues. The next step is painting the body with lapis lazuli and adding pale blue highlights. Note that the lapis is partly transparent, and the ocher undertones of the first picture can still be seen below.
